The Battlefield Association has taken on a fund-raising program, due to the F-4 tornado that passed through the Battlefield May 4, 2003. Also vandals stole the unknown soldier statue from the welcome center Easter week 2003, the monument is unrepairable. We are also in the process of getting the battlefield on the national register, plus procuring more of the battle site from private land owners to preserve for future generations. We are in dire need of funding from private and public donations. If you wish to help in this endeavor send contributions to the address above. Contributions are appreciated.
